TL-534-WTC12/12 Top Loading Boiler

TL-433-WT12/12 $19,450

            (534 WT12/12 shown in photo - $24,489)
4 feet long x 3 feet wide x 3 foot tall firebox = 36 cubic feet of wood.

12" water jacket all around with 80 gallons in the lid, for a total of 428 Gallon!      479,574 BTU and a heating area of 11,626 sq ft based on water capacity.

We normally recommend a taller firebox because 3 feet of height can get used up pretty fast, if loading with big rounds. Lumber, scrap, branches and 12" logs work great in this model!

Emergency side loading door on all models in case of battery or hydraulic failure. This is a 26.5" x 26.5" door with a 2' x 2' opening.

The ash door is right below the loading door, which gives you access to the area below the grates.

1 foot taller will give you 1/3 more wood capacity but is just $1900 more!

Our TL-433-WTC12/12  with 80 gallons of water in the lid is just $20,797

You can see the access doors at the rear of the boiler to get to the 12 V battery, the hydraulic pump, the 2 Hydronic pumps, the 75 CFM forced air induction fans.

On larger models we use more than one forced-air 75 CFM induction blower.  They also have a solenoid activated damper on them to stop the air flow into the firebox when the fan turns off; saving you wood!

TL-1456 Top Loading Boiler

We have built the largest model in the world which has a 14' long firebox.  It is available in different widths and heights, ranging in price from $72,497 up to $81,175 for a LARGER (1466) FORCED AIR version with two Huge 2010 CFM Blowers.

The four models below have different water capacities because they have different size water jackets; 6" verses 12" and 2 of them have water in the lid which adds water capacity and BTU storage and enables you to heat larger buildings.

821,327 BTU 20,533 sq. ft.

You have your choice of 17 different colors for the sides the corners and the lid on top loaders.

Top Loading Forced Air Furnace

This is our extremely popular forced air, hot air furnace that you can load easily with heavy equipment.  A lot of people are buying them to heat a kiln and most of them are burning firewood and use the same firewood (cracked and twisted pieces) to dry their firewood so that they can get more money for it.

Seems like a win-win to me!
Top Loader Forced Air Models have TWO large 2020 CFM blowers to blow an abundance of air into a building, whether it be for heat or use as a kiln.  Long buildings benefit from this design because they can be put in the center of the building (lengthwise) and run two ducts into the building, with one going to the left and one going to the right; taking the hot air to each end of the building.

The two return ducts are put closest to the furnace; pulling air from each end for extremely optimal circulation without cold spots.  This is what the Army Corp of Engineers did in one of their warehouses.

Standard Grates made out of 3/4" Bar Stock

On our smaller top loaders we put a single row of grates down the length of the boiler with sand to each side.  There is a steel plate that goes down to the concrete pad to block the sand from entering underneath the grates.

The sand is normally tapered up to the sidewalls in larger models, so that when you drop logs in, they land on the sand and will roll down onto the grates.  Once you have a log on the grates, you can drop subsequent logs on top and the weight is well distributed across the grates.

This is done quite differently in larger models that have the pull out ash tray option.  See photos above.  The whole boiler is filled completely with grates from corner to corner.

There is an ash door directly below the emergency loading door which gives you access to the area below the grates for clean out with a hoe.  On larger models, we give you two ash doors; one on each end.

On 9' Models and larger, many people choose the optional pull out ash trays.  We lift the boiler up on 12" I-Beams and build air tight ash trays to go between them.
