Buy your Hyprotherm Boiler today!
Many people are searching for a replacement for their Hardy Boiler and we have exactly what you need because ours is a direct and exact replacement including the hook-up for the domestic hot water.
Looking at the Hardy H2 and H3 Models, the hold 100 gallons of water. Our second smallest model, the FLRH-100 holds 100 gallons but has an almost identical size of firebox at 16.5 cu. ft. This model is $6499 including one pump installed, a second set of standard ports to accommodate a second pump, a forced air induction fan with damper, an analog thermometer, a water level gauge, four outlets plus a switch to turn off the induction blower so that smoke does not blow in your face when loading the boiler. It is also fully wired and ready to go with a Ranco aquastat that has a swing temperature of just 3 degrees.
Our Models are most similar to the Hardy H3 and H5 models because they have domestic hot water coils like we do. If you have a Hardy H2 or Hardy H4 that needs to be replaced, then we can remove the hot water coil, saving you $125 and then you will have an identical unit, hook up wise and function as the HyproTherm.
All of our boilers and furnaces have a pull out ash tray to easily clean out your ashes. The only exception is the low priced Econo 85 Model.
Keep in mind that the next size up, the FLRH-185 holds 85 gallons more water and has a firebox that is about 20% larger and is only $200 more than the FLRH-100. The FLRH-185 sells for just $7997.
We look now at the Hardy H4 and H5 Models. They both hold 130 gallons of water and have a firebox that is slightly less than 23 cu. ft. The FLRH-185 is the closest replacement and has a firebox that is 19.77 cu. ft. (slightly less) but has 55 gallons more water or about 60,000 more of BTU heat storage. Again, it is the identical hook up so nothing needs to be changed with the power wiring or Pex pipe.
The next model up is the FLRH-265 which has a firebox 26% larger than the Hardy H4 and Hardy H5 and 14.5% larger than the smaller HyproTherm Boiler.
Our boilers have a full size rear door on them to make it much simpler to access the components without removing the complete hull.
All of our front loading boilers have a full sized lockable rear door with an almost 4 foot width, to easily access the area that houses a pump, Aquastat, water level gauge, 4 A/C outlets, an Analog Thermometer, the stoker fan. Pex pipe and last but not least, the domestic hot water coil.
To replace the Hot Water Coil in a Hardy Heater, you have to remove the complete hull (and chimney) which usually tales 2-3 people. Only then can you see the coil and replace it.
This is VERY HARD compared to our coil (above) which can simply be pulled out of the hot water tank after removing the smallish lid.
