Pallet Burner 

Generally, pallets are safe to burn in fireplaces, so they are OK in outdoor wood furnaces and boilers although those that are treated with the fumigant methyl bromide (labeled with the initials MB) are unsafe to burn. Also, pallets may have been exposed to a variety of chemicals while they were in use.

Pets have a decent chance of having been fumigated in the past with the chemical Methyl Bromide. This is not a chemical you want to breathe, as it is a known carcinogen

Can you burn pallets?


YES! Instead of paying thousands of dollars to get old or even new pallets hauled off, use our pallet burner as that free source of heat to do as many others have and savinbg tens of thousands of dollars. Be 100% sure they are not treated with wood preservatives or Methyl Bromide

Is it illegal to burn pallets?


Laws vary hugely by state and often only apply to open burning, so check with your start, city or town if you are unsure.

Many buildings can be cost prohibitive to heat due to size or poor insulation but that can be done virtually for free of monthly costs using our HyproTherm Top Loading Boiler; also known as the HyproTherm Pallet Burner because it is the perfect size for burning pallets without any wasted space.

We build every Top Loader custom and they are available as boilers and forced hot air versions as well as Pallet Burners. For that reason, we can build them to accommodate standard 4 foot x 4 foot pallets or any other size, as needed.

Instead of burning pallets in a bonfire, which is wasteful to say the least, why not use that heat from a pallet burner to heat your building?

You may be wondering if you can burn pallets with nails in them. YES, no problem. No harm will be done. However, be sure they are not galvanized which will release toxic fumes!
