We have a person in the UK that is using this FLFA-3000 water-less furnace to heat a kiln to over 160 F. This shows that you can virtually do anything with this model and it will do it well. This firebox is 56" deep and holds 33 cu. ft. of wood. You can put 4 1/2 foot logs in it and they do not have to be split! In fact, whole logs burn better and longer due to our 75 CFM forced air induction fan in the back, feeding oxygen in from the bottom, up through the grates just like a blacksmith's forge.

This is NOT a boiler and most laws speak about Outdoor Wood Boilers. So that MIGHT be your loophole.

We recommend a 4" thick concrete pad to carry the weight of these furnaces because this model weighs 1400 pounds.
You will need a substantial pad so that the boiler does not sink into the ground.
You can also use solid 4" concrete blocks or even pavers. Many people use railroad ties for support. The choice is yours.
This photo shows how many people run their ductwork through a basement window, which happens to be the exact size in many instances and makes installation a breeze!
This customer did a great job, connecting his 12" insulated ductwork to the Hyprotherm Hot Air wood furnace - with a substantial shelter above it, with matching steel!
2: 430-ton Press Brake
We are the only manufacturer that uses a press brake to form a firebox and air jacket; both from 1 piece of metal.
Most everyone else uses 6 flat slabs of steel, with no inherent strength and that requires 12 welds because welds are the weak spots.
This new firebox and air jacket are formed using a 430-ton Press Brake,

Wood and Coal Boiler/Furnace Insulation
We now have the proper insulation that the furnace REALLY needs; (we and everyone else has been doing it wrong according to the insulation engineers!)
We now have insulation with the equivalent of R-23 in the sides and R-57 in the roof and in the front against the 700 degree firebox with up to R-88 equivalent in the optional EXTREME Cold Weather Package for just $307 on any front-loading model (boiler or water-less hot air)! Available on top loaders for just $443.
The brown insulation you see is the Knauf insulation that is rated for 1000 F without failing. It is perfect for the air jacket because it only reaches 170 F; at those temperatures normal R factor (home type) insulation fails.
The white product on the front is called Superwool from Morgan Thermodynamics and is rated at 1800 F, without failing, which is excellent when insulating a firebox which can easily be 800 F to 1200 F; again where normal residential insulation will always fail!

In this photo, you see the SolarGuard insulation on top of the Knauf, giving it an extra R-10, even up to almost R-12 plus it combats the three types of heat loss. This is significant seeing that this product is only 1/4" thick.

FYI: If you are heating HALF as many square feet as our rating, you can load it just ONCE a DAY!
REMEMBER! There is no such thing as a furnace that is too big because it is NOT like an air conditioner, where if you get one too big, it becomes inefficient.
This is like getting a bigger propane or oil tank! You can load it with more wood (full rounds - no splitting!) and it will burn longer and therefore you will load it less often.
No one has ever complained and said that I sold them one too big. In contrast, many people have said, "I wished that I listened to you!"

OUR Flue drops down into the firebox 14 inches, trapping in the heat and the smoke but more importantly, the gases, due to this huge secondary burn chamber, which will be burnt off; valuable heat energy that would have been otherwise lost, up the flue.
